In 2024, the revenue of IT companies increased by 27%, to 12.2 trillion rubles, and in 2025 increased by 14%, reaching 13.9 trillion rubles.

EKATERINBURG, September 15 - RIA Novosti. The revenue of Russian IT companies is growing annually by 15-20%, according to the results of the first half of 2026 it amounted to 5.9 trillion rubles, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko.

The Deputy Prime Minister spoke at the International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg as part of the federal educational marathon “Knowledge.First”.

“We are growing by 15-20% annually as an industry. This shows not only the demand for the industry, it, by the way, shows the demand for specialists in the industry. Because a growing market is always a need to attract work,” he said, commenting on the revenue of Russian IT companies.

According to data from the presentation of the Deputy Prime Minister, the revenue of IT companies in 2024 increased by 27%, to 12.2 trillion rubles. In 2025, the figure increased by 14% and reached 13.9 trillion rubles. At the end of the first half of 2026, it amounted to 5.9 trillion rubles.
