Terrible incident in Izmir! He poured boiling water on his sleeping wife, then hanged himself

The incident took place around 01.30 in Dernekli District of Bayındır district. Housewife Bilgi Fırat poured boiling water on the father of her two children, farmer Nazif Fırat, while he was sleeping, for an unknown reason.

Bilgi Fırat, who left the house after the incident, entered a nearby empty house and hanged himself on the balcony. Upon notice, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. Upon check-up by the medical teams, it was determined that Bilgi Fırat had died.

The injured Nazif Fırat, who had burns on his body, was taken to Torbalı State Hospital by ambulance. It was stated that Nazif Fırat, whose treatment is ongoing, is not in a life-threatening situation. The gendarmerie's investigation into the incident continues.
