Alligator is caught walking along the sidewalk and surprises resident in Governador Valadares

An alligator was spotted walking along the sidewalk of Rua Frutal, in the Nova Vila Bretas neighborhood, in Governador Valadares, in the east of Minas, this Friday morning (6). The animal surprised a resident who was leaving for work.

According to the Military Police, the video was sent to the corporation by the resident, who came across the reptile when he was leaving for work.

Last Sunday (1st), an alligator was also seen on the boardwalk at Lagoa do Jardim Pérola. According to residents, three alligators live in the lagoon and sightings of the animals have been frequent.

According to information released by the Military Police, the Fire Department advises the population to keep their distance from alligators and not try to approach the animals.
