Julián Aguilera creates Intecc after spinal diagnosis and invoices 126,000 euros in 2025

After a life linked in one way or another to sport, in 2010, Julián Aguilera from Malaga received a very direct message from his traumatologist. “He told me that I had to have surgery within 24 hours or else I would be left in a wheelchair,” recalls someone who had accumulated years of lower back pain. It was a bump that changed everything in his life. He then decided to launch a training center to teach how to avoid injuries and invested time and money in research that was the seed of the creation, at the end of 2024, of Intecc. The company has developed a web application that allows you to assess the condition of the spine in seconds by swiping your mobile phone over it or using photos. After billing 126,000 euros in 2025, this year they aim to reach half a million euros.

That fateful diagnosis, from which Aguilera managed to emerge safely, led the entrepreneur to be one of the founders of the Institute for Research and Technology in Human Performance Sciences. It is based in Murcia, where Aguilera had moved to study - after studying Physical Education in Granada - and where she put down roots. The center specialized in postgraduate training for coaches and physiotherapists. Today, 16 years later, it has thirty courses.
