Court orders blocking of accounts of JHC and his father in debt proceedings

According to the decision, published on August 31, 2026, the company charges a debt of R$138 thousand relating to a service provided. The action is in the extrajudicial title execution phase and can be appealed. The decision was signed by judge Jamil Amil Albuquerque de Hollanda Ferreira.

Although the company operates in the areas of advertising campaigns and marketing consultancy, the Court did not inform which service was provided or when it was carried out. The process began on May 11, 2015, in the 7th Civil Court of the Capital.

In addition to JHC, his father, former state deputy and former mayor of Ibateguara João Caldas da Silva, also had his accounts blocked.

According to the Alagoas Court of Justice (TJ-AL), in the August decision of this year, the judge renewed the research and blocked JHC and his father's accounts. The measurement is carried out automatically for up to 30 days, through the system known as “teimosinha”.

This is not the first time that the Court has ordered the blocking of amounts from JHC and his father's accounts in this process.

In 2018, the Court authorized online seizure through the BacenJud system. At the time, R$7,000 were blocked in a JHC account at Caixa Econômica Federal and R$98.86 at Banco do Brasil. In João Caldas' Caixa account, R$172.48 was blocked.

In October 2024, according to the process, the judge again accepted a request from the company and ordered the blocking of values ​​by the SISBAJUD system, also in the “stubborn” modality, against those executed.

In November of the same year, a court decision recorded the blocking of R$167,762.48 in an account held by João Henrique Caldas at Banco do Brasil and R$1,211.98 in an account held by João Caldas at Bradesco.
