Kalibaf and Talabani met in Tehran

According to the semi-official Tasnim News Agency, Qalibaf and Talabani met in the capital Tehran.

During the meeting, Qalibaf stated that the USA and Israel did not think that Iran could show such resistance and that they would be defeated, and said, "The conspiracy prepared by the USA on the western borders of Iran was defeated with the cooperation of the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) and the initiatives of the armed forces." he said.

Emphasizing that the USA will never give up its plans for Iran and that it is trying to create a separation between Iran and Iraq, Qalibaf said that relations with neighboring countries in every field should be strengthened in order to thwart these plans.
