Statements of former prosecutors contradicted in the investigation into the death of Kaşif Kozinoğlu

In the investigation into the suspicious death of former MİT officer Kaşif Kozinoğlu in prison, the statements of the then Prison Public Prosecutor Necip Doğan and the Chief Public Prosecutor Ali İşgören were revealed.

It was stated that two former prosecutors gave different statements regarding the recording of the intervention made 9 minutes and 49 seconds after the emergency button was pressed as "1 minute" in the report.

It was stated that two former prosecutors who were dismissed from their profession due to their links to FETO gave contradictory statements during the prosecutor's interrogation.

During the investigation, the two people were asked why the intervention made 9 minutes and 49 seconds after pressing the emergency button was recorded as "1 minute" in the report.

Necip Doğan, the Prison Prosecutor at the time, who signed the report, said that the signature belonged to him, but he did not remember where he signed the document.

Doğan said, "I was not the investigating prosecutor. The document I signed probably came from the chief prosecutor, that's why I signed and sent it without questioning," and claimed that he gave instructions to the prison director to preserve the crime scene, but this instruction was not fulfilled.

Ali İşgören, the then Chief Public Prosecutor who conducted the investigation, rejected Doğan's allegations.

Stating that he was not aware of the faulty video review report prepared by Doğan, İşgören said, "This is the first time I am hearing about this report."

İşgören also argued that he found it reasonable for the ambulance to arrive at the scene in 13 minutes, that his relationship with Doğan consisted of past assignments and that they had not met for 13 years.
