The death toll in the passenger ship accident on the TRNC-Mersin voyage increased to 18

The Turkish catamaran passenger ship, which departed from TRNC to Mersin's Taşucu Port on August 30, capsized.

The dead bodies of Mehmet Asaf Biçer (5) and Nihat Pancar, who were lost in the accident, were found yesterday. The number of deaths in the incident increased to 18.

The bodies of Biçer and Pancar were brought to Hatay after their procedures. The funeral of Mehmet Asaf Biçer, who disappeared with his sister Saliha Miray in the accident that occurred while returning from vacation with his family, was buried in Reyhanlı district, and the funeral of Nihat Pancar, who lost his life while taking leave from his job as a cook and coming to his hometown for a holiday to surprise his family, was buried in Samandağ district with the participation of his relatives and many people.
