Zinédine Zidane's full staff at the Blues made official by the FFF

22 men in charge of the Blues. The French Football Federation (FFF) formalized on Tuesday the complete composition of the staff of Zinédine Zidane, the new coach of the France team, four days before the disclosure of its first list of players for the Nations League.

The management of the Blues will have a total of 23 people including “Zizou”, once the FFF has selected a liaison officer with the Ministry of the Interior to oversee security issues alongside Mohamed Sanhadji. The latter, now “logistics and security manager”, held the position until December 2025 before being recruited by the Federation. He had been forced to take early retirement from the national police.

The first version of this team, unveiled on August 13, was expanded with a new physical trainer, Arthur Hochedé, who looked after the players of Red Star (2nd division) last year and will work with Grégory Dupont, the “strategy and performance advisor”. Philippe Jamin and Serge Isidoro join the medical staff, led by Marseille doctor Hervé Collado. Jamin will be responsible for recovering the players, Isidoro, the podiatrist, took care of the footballers from Benfica and the basketball players from Nanterre.

Appointed in August, Xavier Giraudon, a senior reporter at Canal+ and who knew Zidane during his years in Bordeaux when he worked for France Bleu Gironde, is the new press manager of the Blues. Zinédine Zidane and his staff will make their big debut in the Nations League with a first meeting scheduled in Turkey on September 25 before a trip to Belgium on the 28th. The Blues will then host Italy on October 2, before the return match at home against Belgium on the 5th.
