Forest fires were taken under control in Manisa and Bursa

The forest fire that occurred in Soma district of Manisa was taken under control with the mobilization of all the state's resources and the rapid intervention of the teams.

Manisa Governorship, fire brigade, gendarmerie and relevant public institutions, as well as teams and volunteers working within the scope of the Fire Risk Reduction Plan, also supported the work carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

In the statement made by Manisa Governorship, it was stated that the fire was taken under control in a short time, thanks to the forest fires being followed with high precision and the measures taken.

In the statement, the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, was thanked for his sensitivity towards fires, while gratitude was expressed to forest heroes, air support teams, fire brigade, gendarmerie and all public institutions that supported.

In the statement, which also drew attention to the preparation, training and guidance studies carried out under the coordination of district governorships within the scope of Manisa Governorship Fire Risk Reduction Plan, the importance of preliminary preparation and solidarity in combating disasters was emphasized.

In the governor's statement, risk reduction groups and volunteers were thanked and the message was given: "Protecting the Green Homeland is our common responsibility."

It was reported that after the fire in Soma was taken under control, teams in the region continued their precautionary work.

FOREST FIRE IN BURSA IS UNDER CONTROL

The fire, which broke out in the forest between Balıoğlu District of Bursa's Orhaneli district and Perçin District of Orhangazi district, was taken under control with the intervention of the teams from air and land, which lasted approximately 2 hours.

It was stated that cooling efforts continue in the region.
