Mevcut düzenlemelerde ilköğretim ve ortaöğretim kurumlarında bir ders saatinin süresi 40 dakika olarak belirleniyor. İlköğretimde ikili eğitim yapılan okullarda teneffüsler için en az 10 dakika ayrılması gerekiyor.

MEB'in yeni yazısında ise 2026-2027 eğitim öğretim yılı için kapsam dahilindeki okullarda 40 dakikalık ders süresinin 30 dakikaya kadar düşürülebileceği belirtildi.

Böylece aynı binayı sabahçı ve öğlenci grupların kullandığı veya fiziki koşullar nedeniyle yoğunluk yaşanan okullarda günlük eğitim programının daha esnek düzenlenebilmesinin önü açıldı.

Mesleki ve Teknik Eğitim Genel Müdürlüğü tarafından hazırlanan yazı, 81 il valiliğine gönderildi.

Yazıda, Ortaöğretim Kurumları Yönetmeliği ile Okul Öncesi Eğitim ve İlköğretim Kurumları Yönetmeliği'ndeki mevcut ders süreleri hatırlatılarak, olağanüstü durumlarda eğitim ve öğretimin işleyişine ilişkin Bakanlık tarafından farklı düzenlemeler yapılabileceğine dikkat çekildi.
