Meteorology announced: Weather report for November 6, 2026... What will the weather be like today?

General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) published the weather forecast for Friday, November 6. According to the latest evaluations, while partly and very cloudy weather is effective throughout Türkiye, rain is expected in many regions.

It is estimated that there will be precipitation in the Eastern Mediterranean, parts of the Black Sea coast outside Düzce and Samsun, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, Sakarya and Artvin surroundings, and the eastern and western coasts of Antalya.

While the precipitation is expected to be mostly rain and showers, there will be occasional thunderstorms in Southeastern Anatolia. Sleet and snowfall can be seen in the highlands in the north of Eastern Anatolia and in the inner parts of Artvin.

HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED IN THREE REGIONS

Meteorology warned of heavy rainfall for Southeastern Anatolia, the southeast of Eastern Anatolia and Hatay surroundings. It was stated that with the rains, sudden floods, floods, landslides, lightning, local hail and transportation disruptions may occur. In addition, it was requested to be cautious against the risk of strong winds and tornadoes in coastal areas during rainfall.

TEMPERATURES FALL BY 6 DEGREES

Temperatures across the country are expected to be 3 to 6 degrees below seasonal norms. It is estimated that the wind will generally blow from the north, from the south in Southeastern Anatolia and its surroundings, with light winds and from time to time with moderate strength.
