Heavy rain warning from Meteorology: Temperatures are falling

General Directorate of Meteorology Weather Forecast Expert Mehmet Özdemirci made evaluations about the expected weather conditions throughout the week. Özdemirci said that rain is expected on Wednesday in the Central and Eastern Black Sea, the east of Central Anatolia, the inner parts of the Eastern Mediterranean, the surroundings of Isparta and Burdur and the north of Eastern Anatolia. Stating that air temperatures are still above seasonal norms throughout the country, Özdemirci said:

"8 TO 4 DEGREES TEMPERATURE DECREASE"

"We expect a 4 to 8 degree decrease in air temperatures in the northern, central and western parts from the beginning of the week."

WEATHER IN ISTANBUL, ANKARA AND IZMIR

Stating that slightly cloudy weather will prevail in Istanbul and Izmir on Wednesday, Özdemirci stated that the temperatures will be 26 degrees in Istanbul and 30 degrees in Izmir. In Ankara, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy and sometimes very cloudy, and it is stated that the temperature will be around 25 degrees.

According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the northern, central and western parts of our country will be partly cloudy and sometimes very cloudy, the Marmara, Aegean, Western Mediterranean and Toroslar Region, the northwest of Central Anatolia, the Black Sea (except Tokat) and the Erzincan and Ardahan surroundings will have local showers and thunderstorms, and other places will be slightly cloudy and clear. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the eastern part of Marmara, the northeast of the Aegean, the western part of the Western Black Sea, the northern parts of Central Anatolia and around Kastamonu.

AIR TEMPERATURE: It is expected that there will be no significant change in air temperatures, and will continue to be above seasonal norms in the western parts and around normal in other places.

WIND: It is expected to blow gently from the north in the northwest of the country, from the south in the south and east, and occasionally at medium strength.

HEAVY RAIN WARNING

Since rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in the eastern part of Marmara, the northeastern part of the Aegean region, the western part of the Western Black Sea region, the northern parts of Central Anatolia and around Kastamonu, one should be careful and cautious against any negativities that may occur.
