Yellow code warning from Meteorology for 12 provinces: Heavy showers are expected

It is estimated that the northern, central and western parts of the country will be partly cloudy and sometimes very cloudy, the Marmara, Aegean, Western Mediterranean and Toroslar regions, the northwest of Central Anatolia, the Black Sea and Erzincan and Ardahan surroundings will have local showers and thunderstorms, and other places will be slightly cloudy and clear. Rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in the eastern part of Marmara, the northeast of the Aegean, the western part of the Western Black Sea and the northern parts of Central Anatolia, as well as around Kastamonu and Çorum.

According to the forecasts received from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the air temperature will continue to be above seasonal norms in the western parts and around normal in other places. The wind will blow from the north in the northwest of the country, from the south in the south and east parts of the country, with light and occasionally moderate force.

AKOM stated that air temperatures will also decrease and made the following statement:

"While a partly cloudy sky is expected throughout the week, intermittent showers and occasional heavy showers are expected to occur from today onwards. It is estimated that temperatures will be below seasonal norms in the range of 22-24 °C due to intermittent strong winds blowing from the northern (Northern) directions and cloudy skies."

A yellow code alarm was given in the provinces of Afyonkarahisar, Ankara, Antalya, Burdur, Çankırı, Çorum, Denizli, Eskişehir, Isparta, Muğla, Uşak, Kırıkkale.
