The incident took place on August 11 in Bağlar District of Midyat district.
Bedriye Naz, who lived in the flat on the 5th floor of Tanlar Sitesi on the Ring Road, fell from the window in an undetermined way.
Upon notice, health and police teams were dispatched to the address.
It was determined that Bedriye Naz had died under the control of medical personnel.
Naz's lifeless body was taken to the hospital morgue for autopsy.
Naz's body, whose autopsy was completed at Mardin Training and Research Hospital, was buried in the family cemetery in the rural Acırlı District of the district.
As part of the investigation, Bedriye Naz's husband Levent Naz, who was detained upon the allegation that they had an argument before the incident, was arrested by the court at Midyat Courthouse, where he was referred after his procedures at the police station.
Security camera footage of the moments when Levent Naz left the house after the incident and bought a knife from the market was also revealed.
In the footage, it was seen that Naz entered the market and put the knife he bought into his waistband and left without paying.
WITNESSES' STATEMENTS IN THE INDICTMENT
The indictment prepared after the completion of the investigation carried out by the Midyat Chief Public Prosecutor's Office was accepted by the Midyat High Criminal Court.
The indictment included the statements of Bedriye Naz's family and neighbors.
In the statements, it was claimed that Levent Naz put pressure on his wife due to jealousy, did not allow her to go out, and there were problems between the couple before the incident.
Neighbor H.A. stated that on the day of the incident, he heard Bedriye Naz's shouts of 'Don't do it' and the children's crying from the house.
Stating that he went home after this, H.A. claimed that Bedriye said to him, 'Save me, he will kill me.'
H.A. stated that when he went back home after taking the children and leaving them to his mother, Levent Naz told him that he had thrown his wife down, and when he went down in front of the building, he saw Bedriye Naz on the ground covered in blood.
Bedriye Naz's brother-in-law V.D. He stated that Levent Naz called him on WhatsApp after the incident and claimed that he said that he saw correspondence with other people on his wife's phone and that he killed Bedriye.
Bedriye Naz's sister, Filiz Dilekçi, also claimed that Levent Naz told them in a phone call that he killed his wife.
Following the incident, the statement of A.A., the driver of the vehicle in which Levent Naz was riding, was also included in the indictment.
A.A. claimed that a person he did not know at the scene stopped his car and asked him to take him away, and that the person he took into the car said to his brother while talking on the phone, "I did the incident, I threw away my wife, come quickly."
A.A. said that he identified the person he took into the car as Levent Naz from the photographs shown to him at the police station.
HE DID NOT ACCEPT THE ACCUSES
Levent Naz did not accept the accusations in his statement.
Stating that she saw her husband messaging another man on her phone on the day of the incident and that an argument broke out between them, Naz claimed that her husband suddenly ran to the living room window, opened the window and jumped down.
Naz, who claimed that he tried to hold his wife's hands but could not stop her, said that he panicked and left the house after the incident.
Naz said, "I definitely did not throw my wife down or kill her."
CAMERA IMAGES AND AUTOPSY REPORT ON FILE
In the indictment, it was stated that in the security camera footage, it was determined that Bedriye Naz fell on the roadside pavement from the front of the building, and that after the incident, Levent Naz left the building and got into a white vehicle.
It was noted that the statement of the driver of the vehicle also supported that the suspect left the area immediately after the incident.
In the autopsy report prepared by the Mardin Forensic Medicine Institute Branch Directorate, it was stated that the exact cause of death of Bedriye Naz was head and general body trauma due to falling from a height, skull bone and extremity fractures, intracranial traumatic changes and internal bleeding due to internal organ injury.
Prosecutor's Office; By evaluating the witness statements, camera footage and other evidence in the file together, the court concluded that there was sufficient suspicion to file a public lawsuit regarding Levent Naz causing his wife's death by throwing her from the window of their house on the 5th floor.
In the indictment, aggravated life imprisonment was requested for Naz for the crime of "intentional murder against his wife".
'UNFAIR PROJECTION DISCOUNT SHOULD NOT BE APPLIED'
Gurbet Bilbay, the lawyer of Bedriye Naz's family, stated that they were satisfied with the indictment and said that the evidence and witness statements in the file were important in shedding light on the incident.
Bilbay said, “Our prosecutor submitted the indictment 15 days ago.
Our indictment was accepted.
Levent Naz will be tried with aggravated life imprisonment for the crime of "intentional murder against his spouse".
We do not want unfair provocation discounts.
Because in our eyes, this is a planned murder.
He had been planning this murder for a year.
We have proof and evidence regarding this.
Bedriye Naz wanted a divorce since 1 year ago.
He said that he would kill this person at his workplace and at his brother's workplace.

He parks his car in a different spot on the day of the incident.
Bedriye's last word was "Sister, save me."
While escaping, the defendant called his brother and said, 'Brother, I took care of the situation.
"Help me," he says.

We initiated a legal process to terminate the custody of the victim's children and appoint the grandmother as guardian.

'THE RIGHT TO DIVORCE AND TO LIVE HAS BEEN TAKEN AWAY'
Stating that Bedriye Naz was under pressure throughout her 12-year marriage, Bilbay said, “This woman only wants a divorce in the last 1.5 years of her 12-year marriage.
This woman has never been able to travel or go anywhere in her nearly 12-year marriage.
He has no rights, no right to divorce, no right to travel.
We have already made applications regarding this.
His right to life was taken away.
We expect support from everyone regarding this.
We are not legitimizing cheating here.
But if we look at the concrete case, this person does not have the right to divorce anyway, he does not even have a right that should be considered normal.
"He should definitely not benefit from the unfair provocation discount," he said.
