Minister André Mendonça maintains decision on removing publications against Flávio Bolsonaro

Minister André Mendonça, of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), spoke out to confirm the very decisions that determined the removal from the air of publications that linked the candidate Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) to an alleged movement to remove Our Lady of Aparecida from the post of patron saint of Brazil.

Mendonça, author of the decision, was the first to vote. He included the vote in the Electoral Court systems before the scheduled trial time, at 10 am. The analysis runs until 11:59 pm this Wednesday.

Fux, who responded to a request from the candidate's defense, defended that the issue be examined by the collegiate in view of the impacts on the Electoral Court and on the ongoing presidential contest.
