MKE continued its deliveries: Naval cannon and E-ZPT

MKE continued its delivery efforts in the last month. The institution delivered products to the Turkish Armed Forces, security forces, defense industry stakeholders and friendly and allied countries. In addition, the delivery list includes a wide range from ammunition to weapon systems. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the items one by one.

Centuries-old production experience is one of MKE's most important foundations. In addition, the institution develops this knowledge with new technologies and production investments. The aim is to contribute to Türkiye's goal of complete independence in the defense industry. Therefore, deliveries can be read as the on-field equivalent of this goal.

Naval Cannon and Armored Vehicle Deliveries

The highlight was the ninth DENİZHAN-76 National Beach Ball. This gun was delivered to be deployed on the 11th ship built within the scope of the MİLGEM Project. Moreover, only five countries in the world have beach ball technology. That's why delivery is the most notable title on the list.

In the same period, various weapon systems were delivered to ALTAY. ALTAY is known as Türkiye's first national main battle tank. In addition, three more E-ZPT, Türkiye's first electric armored personnel carrier, were delivered. However, the delivery does not only consist of these two items.

What Does the MKE Delivery List Show?

The list shows that MKE is not limited to a single product group. For example, deliveries were made in different areas, from naval cannons to infantry rifles, from mortar ammunition to passage opening systems. Maintenance and repair equipment and spare parts were also included in the list.

Thus, the support required for both new production systems and the continuity of the existing inventory progressed in the same period. On the other hand, the fact that deliveries include friendly and allied countries indicates the institution's presence on the export side. Finally, it is also known that the institution established two turnkey facilities in Jordan in the previous period.
