Motorcyclist dies after head-on collision between two motorcycles on the side of Mirante do Paranapanema

A 43-year-old motorcyclist died after a head-on collision this Sunday (27) in Mirante do Paranapanema (SP). The accident involved two motorcycles in a rural area.
Two other people, a 15-year-old teenager and a 22-year-old man, were injured. They were transferred to hospitals in Presidente Prudente with open fractures.
The Civil Police registered the case as manslaughter while driving a motor vehicle. The dynamics of the crash between the motorcycles are still being investigated.

A 43-year-old motorcyclist died after colliding head-on with another motorcycle at Vicinal Clóvis Barbosa de Oliveira, close to km 7, in the rural area of Mirante do Paranapanema (SP), on Sunday night (27).
According to the Civil Police, the man was found without vital signs at the scene. The death was confirmed by the Fire Department team. Two other people were injured: a 15-year-old teenager and a 22-year-old man.

The victims were initially taken to the Emergency Room in Mirante do Paranapanema and, later, transferred to Presidente Prudente (SP) due to the severity of their injuries.
According to the Civil Police, the teenager was taken to the Presidente Prudente Regional Hospital, while the 22-year-old man was taken to Santa Casa. The record states that both had open fractures.

Accident
According to information from the Military Police, the two motorcycles collided head-on. The 43-year-old man was alone on one of the motorcycles. On the other motorcycle were the 22-year-old man, who was the driver, and the teenager, who was a passenger.
The Civil Police reported that it has not yet been possible to safely establish the dynamics of the accident or the possible responsibility of those involved.
These circumstances will be investigated during the investigation, based on expert reports and other measures. The Technical-Scientific Police were called and carried out an investigation at the scene.

Investigation
The corporation reported that, to date, there is no information about drunkenness or other circumstances relevant to criminal effects related to the accident.
The Civil Police will continue to investigate the case and await the results of the forensic examinations. The motorcycles were released to the families of the parties involved.
The case was registered by the Civil Police as manslaughter while driving a motor vehicle.
