Brazilian driver missing in France is found dead

Brazilian app driver Bruno Fernando Rego, aged 28, who was missing in France, was found dead.

Bruno's sister reported that he was found on July 8, but the family only found out about what happened this Monday (7).

He traveled to Europe about a year ago to save money. The funds would be used for the health care of his 4-year-old daughter.

A friend contacted relatives after the driver became unresponsive on July 5th.

The Brazilian was the target of a preventive arrest warrant in Leme for domestic violence and bodily harm against a woman.

App driver Bruno Fernando Rego, 28 years old and born in Capivari (SP), who had been missing since July this year in France, was found dead.

The information was confirmed by Bruno's sister, Beatriz Rego. On social media, she said that her brother was found on July 8, a few days after his disappearance, but that the family only found out this Monday (7).

The man had traveled to the European country about a year ago with the aim of raising money to pay for health treatment for his 4-year-old daughter, who lives in Brazil.

The alert about the disappearance was given by a Brazilian friend, also from Capivari, who used to speak to Bruno daily via video calls. After receiving no answers on July 5, the friend contacted the family the next day.

According to relatives, the driver lost his passport and disappeared with only the clothes on his back. After his disappearance, the Brazilian's phone number stopped receiving calls and messages, and was listed as non-existent.
