Driver dies in accident between car and two trailers on BR-365, in the interior of MG

A 63-year-old man died in an accident between a car and two trailers on BR-365, between Patrocínio and Guimarânia, in Alto Paranaíba, on Saturday night (7). According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the victim was driving the passenger vehicle when it hit one of the trailers sideways and then hit another trailer, which was carrying frozen chickens, head-on.

According to the Fire Department, the driver of the truck carrying frozen chickens, aged 42, stated that the driver of the car tried to overtake. As a result of the crash, the victim was ejected from the passenger vehicle.

The truck fell to the side of the road due to the impact. The 42-year-old driver had minor injuries and was evaluated by a team from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu). The driver of the other truck involved was not injured.

According to the PRF, the victim was from Guimarânia. Technical expertise was on site and, after the necessary work, the body was taken to Patrocínio.

Firefighters washed the track to remove the residue left after the crashes.
