Following the 3 victim statements previously reflected in the press, the number of victim statements reflected in the public increased to 5 with the 2 new statements.
In new statements, both women claimed that they were taken to Muhittin Böcek's house in Konyaaltı with the promise of being hired at the municipality. One of the names at the center of the statements was Tuğçe Güney. One of the victims claimed that he was clearly told, "If you are with Muhittin Böcek, he will give you a job in the municipality and help you and your family financially."
The woman said that she had sexual intercourse with Böcek and that she was given 2 thousand TL when she left home. The other victim stated that she was taken to Böcek's house twice with the promise of getting a job at the municipality, and that in both meetings, Böcek made physical contact with her and that she was disturbed by this.
"THE MUNICIPALITY GIVES JOBS AND HELP YOU AND YOUR FAMILY"
According to the first statement that has just emerged, the incident took place in 2024. The victim woman claimed that Tuğçe Güney asked her to meet Muhittin Böcek "for prostitution purposes". In her statement, the victim woman said Güney told her, "Muhittin Böcek is the mayor, if you are with him, he will give you a job in the municipality and help you and your family financially." he said.
Stating that she accepted the offer because she had financial difficulties, the woman said that she and Tuğçe Güney went to Muhittin Böcek's house in Konyaaltı.
"I LEFT THE ROOM, HE SAID 'USE YOUR MIND'"
The victim said that when they went home, Tuğçe Güney stayed in the living room, while she went to another room with Muhittin Böcek. However, he stated that he did not want to be with Böcek because he felt bad and left the room.
According to his statement, when he was about to leave the house, Tuğçe Güney stopped him and said, "Use your mind, Muhittin Mayor likes you, go back to your room." he said. The woman stated that she then returned to the room and had sexual intercourse with Muhittin Böcek.
"HE GIVEN 2 THOUSAND TL WHEN LEAVING HIS HOME"
One of the most striking allegations in the victim's statement was the alleged payment of money after the meeting. The woman said that Muhittin Böcek gave her 2 thousand TL when she left home.
Stating that she later asked Tuğçe Güney whether she had received any payment, the victim claimed that Güney replied, "My father already meets all my needs, my father takes care of me," referring to Muhittin Böcek.
"SHALL I GET YOU A JOB IN THE MUNICIPALITY?"
In the second new victim's statement entered into the file, it was explained that the events started approximately 4 years ago. The victim woman stated that she met Tuğçe Güney through a mutual friend, and that Güney took her phone number the day they met and asked her, "Should I arrange a job for you at the municipality?" He said he asked.
Stating that she was positive about the offer because she was not working at that time, the woman said that Güney called her a few days later and said, "I will take you to Muhittin Mayor's house, introduce you and get you a job at the municipality."
HE WENT TO BÖCEK'S HOUSE FOR DINNER
According to the victim's account, Tuğçe Güney later called him and said that they were going to Muhittin Böcek's house for dinner. The two met in Konyaaltı and went to Böcek's house by taxi. The woman said that in addition to Muhittin Böcek, there was a man in his 30s who introduced himself as an assistant. He claimed that the course of the incident changed during the meal.
"HE STARTED TOUCHING MY LEGS"
The victim said that Muhittin Böcek started touching her legs during the meal, and that he removed his hand when he became uncomfortable. In his statement, he stated that there were no discussions about his employment at the municipality that day. The woman said that after leaving the house, she asked Tuğçe Güney why Böcek touched her and claimed that Güney replied, "He liked you very much, that's why he touched her, never mind."
He stated that when he asked what would happen if he was hired at the municipality, Güney told him, "I will handle it, don't worry."
"ONE WEEK LATER, THIS TIME THERE WERE ONLY BUGS IN THE HOUSE"
According to the victim's statement, about a week later, Tuğçe Güney called again. This time, "We will go to Muhittin Böcek's house around 10:00 in the evening and take care of your business." he said. The woman explained that she was uneasy about what she had experienced at the first meeting, but agreed to go to Böcek's house for the second time, thinking that she could be hired at the municipality.
The victim said that during the second visit, only Muhittin Böcek was at home and that Böcek was drinking alcohol when they arrived. Stating that Böcek asked her to sit next to him, the woman claimed that after a while Böcek touched her legs and chest again. He said that when he pulled away, Böcek stopped for a while, but then started to behave the same way again. The woman claimed that when she made eye contact with Tuğçe Güney, Güney gave her a sign with a look that she thought meant "withdrawal".
"IF YOU ARE WITH HIM, HE WILL GIVE YOU A JOB IN THE MUNICIPALITY"
The victim said that he was disturbed by what happened and wanted to leave the house. Explaining that Tuğçe Güney called a taxi and they left the house a short time later, the woman claimed that after going out, Güney openly said to her, "If you are with Muhittin Böcek, he will give you a job in the municipality."
The victim said that he did not accept this offer and that he never contacted Muhittin Böcek again after that day.
"HE WAS PROMISING JOBS IN THE MUNICIPALITY TO THE GIRLS HE MET"
The second victim's statement also included broader allegations about Tuğçe Güney. The woman claimed that Güney had promised jobs at the municipality not only to her but also to other women he met. He also claimed that he tried to get some women whose names were closed in the file to engage in prostitution with the promise of a job in the municipality.
The victim also said that he heard from Güney that he made promises to some children he saw at the Youth Center, whom he assumed were under the age of 18, such as "I will take care of your dormitory and scholarship issues." However, the woman stated that she did not know in what way such promises were made to these children.
The most striking common point in the two new victim statements was that the women said that they were faced with the promise of being employed at the municipality before or during the meetings with Muhittin Böcek. While a victim claimed that she had sexual intercourse with Böcek after this promise and received 2 thousand TL; The other victim said that she was taken home twice and physically abused, but she rejected the offer of sexual intercourse. It was noteworthy that in both statements, Tuğçe Güney was portrayed as the person who established the connection between the women and Muhittin Böcek and promised a job in the municipality.
VICTIM STATEMENTS REFLECTED TO THE PRESS IN THE BÖCEK FILE INCREASED TO 5
In the investigation carried out by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, similar narratives of 3 victims were previously revealed to the public. With the two newly revealed statements, the number of victim statements reported to the press in the prostitution investigation regarding Muhittin Böcek and his circle increased to 5. With the new statements, it is evaluated that the investigation included that the promise of job placement in the municipality was used to get women to meet Muhittin Böcek, that Tuğçe Güney's role in this process and whether other women were directed to similar environments with the same method gained more importance.
