Second wave in Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu investigation: 33 detained

The statement made by the Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek on his social media account is as follows: We continue the investigation with determination to shed light on all aspects of the helicopter crash incident in which the late Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu and his companions lost their lives.

The second wave operation was carried out this morning within the scope of the work carried out together with our Ankara Provincial Police Department, under the coordination of our Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and with the support of our National Intelligence Organization.

Judicial proceedings were initiated against 47 suspects who were considered to have participated in the crime of premeditated murder within the scope of FETO/PDY activities and to have committed various crimes in order to prevent the incident from being disclosed.

Simultaneous search and seizure operations were carried out at 45 addresses in 16 provinces, centered in Ankara, and 33 suspects have been detained so far. While it has been determined that 10 suspects are in prison, efforts are continuing to capture the 4 fugitive suspects.

Within the scope of the investigation; Misdirection of search and rescue efforts, preparation of false information notes, manipulation of witnesses and secret witnesses, and actions aimed at preventing the discovery of the material truth are being investigated in all aspects.

I would like to thank our Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, which meticulously carried out this historical investigation, our National Intelligence Organization, which supported the investigation, our Ankara Provincial Police Department, which successfully carried out the operation in the field, and all our public officials who contributed to the process.

Regardless of the time that passes, we will continue the investigation with determination to reveal the material truth and hold those responsible accountable before the law. Justice will definitely be served sooner or later!
