Halit Dertli, who came to the beauty center on the 4th floor of the 7-storey business center on Lefkoşa Street in Konak District of Nilüfer district in March, took everyone out of his ex-girlfriend Nagihan Karadeniz's workplace and locked the door. After the argument, gunshots were heard from inside. Upon notice, police, health and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the address. The teams broke the door of the workplace and entered and found Nagihan Karadeniz and Halit Dertli injured. Nagihan Karadeniz, the mother of one child, died, and Halit Dertli, the father of two children, was taken to the hospital by ambulance and was treated in intensive care.
It was learned that Halit Dertli and Nagihan Karadeniz, who were found to be real estate agents and had records of different crimes, were ex-lovers and broke up a year ago. Allegedly; It was stated that Halit Dertli, who came to his ex-girlfriend's workplace to make peace, took the customers and employees out of the workplace and locked the door after his offer was rejected.
It was claimed that Dertli, who first opened fire on the Black Sea 2 times and then on the door of the workplace 7 times, turned to the injured woman again, fired 4 more bullets, and then put the same gun to her own head and attempted suicide. Dertli, whose treatment at the hospital was completed, was arrested.
Nagihan Karadeniz and Halit Dertli entered the building where the beauty center is located for the last time, approximately 2 hours apart, and the moments of panic after the incident were reflected on the security camera at the entrance of the business center. The moments when the injured were taken to the hospital by paramedics after the incident were also captured in the footage.
HIS TRIAL CONTINUES
The trial of the detained defendant Halit Dertli, against whom a lawsuit was filed at Bursa 9th High Criminal Court, demanding life imprisonment for the crime of 'intentional murder' and up to 4 years' imprisonment for 'purchasing or carrying or possessing unlicensed firearms and bullets', continued. Halit Dertli, who attended the hearing via SEGBİS from prison, was seen to have a bandaged left cheek.
Halit Dertli, who was asked by the court to make a defense, said, "I am not in a position to make a defense right now. My blood pressure is high. I am unwell. I was in the hospital today. I returned to prison at 12.30. I want to make my defense in your presence at the next hearing."
When the presiding judge said that they had allowed him not to make a defense due to his health problems in the previous hearing, but that he had abused their good will, Dertli said, "I have no intention of prolonging the case. About 2 weeks ago, my systolic blood pressure dropped to 6 and my diastolic blood pressure dropped to 3. I was hospitalized. I died. I was treated in the intensive care unit."

Our workplaces were close. I went to the workplace immediately. When I arrived, the door was closed. There was a struggle inside. I heard 'I will kill you' and a gunshot. Meanwhile, I called the police, then knocked on the door. The defendant opened fire on the door, saying 'I will kill everyone'."
Stating that Nagihan Karadeniz's voice was heard after the first gunshot was heard, Demir said, "Later, several more gunshots were heard. However, this time Nagihan's voice was not heard. The defendant then opened fire towards the door." While the court postponed the hearing, which continued with the hearing of the defendant's lawyers, it also decided to continue the detention of Halit Dertli.
