All victims of poisoning in the Kazan cafe “Nan Kebab N1” have been discharged from the hospital

All those who were poisoned at the Nan Kebab N1 cafe in Kazan have been discharged from the hospital.

From September 12 to 18, 60 cases of intestinal infection were registered after consuming cafe products.

Numerous violations were detected in the cafe, the presence of E. coli and salmonella was discovered, the establishment was sealed, and a criminal case was initiated.

KAZAN, September 22 – RIA Novosti. All those who were poisoned at the Nan Kebab cafe in Kazan, hospitalized last week, have been discharged from the hospital, a representative of the Tatarstan Ministry of Health told RIA Novosti.

“Today the last patient after mass poisoning was discharged from the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital named after Professor Agafonov. The condition is satisfactory,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

According to the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor, from September 12 to 18, 60 cases of intestinal infection were registered after consuming products from the Nan Kebab N1 cafe in Kazan. It was established that all the sick people consumed shawarma, closed pizza, and kebab on September 9-11. Numerous violations were detected in the cafe; 44 kilograms of products were removed from sale, in which, in particular, E. coli and salmonella were found. The cafe has been sealed and the materials have been sent to court. A criminal case has been opened regarding the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements.
