Five people were hit. Alessandra da Silva, aged 26, died at the scene. Two other women, aged 20 and 26, and two men, aged 24 and 28, were injured.

Still in his statement, Bruno said that he had drunk alcohol on the night of the crime, but that he did not use drugs. When asked if he had had a disagreement with the group or his wife, who was also hit by the shots, he denied it.

The four victims who survived were taken to health units. The case is investigated by the 1st Police Station.

The crime took place in the early hours of this Sunday (8). According to information from the Military Police (PMDF), the group of 16 people were returning from a birthday celebration, in a vehicle rented to transport the guests.

Bruno Cardoso dos Passos is a recent graduate of the PMDF's enlisted personnel training course. He fled after shooting, but was arrested red-handed in Parque da Cidade, hours later.

In a statement, the PMDF said that it "deeply regrets the episode, expresses solidarity with the family and friends of the fatal victim and wishes the injured people a speedy recovery."
