Demonstrations in New York while Netanyahu is protested at the UN General Assembly

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the perpetrator of the Gaza genocide, addressed the hall where many country representatives left in protest against him during his UN General Assembly speech.

Netanyahu entered the hall and headed to the podium to address the 81st UN General Assembly.

After Netanyahu took the podium, many country delegations left the General Assembly hall to react to Israel's genocide in Gaza and its continued attacks despite the ceasefire, land grabs in the occupied West Bank, and attacks on Syria and Lebanon.

As the representatives stood up and left the General Assembly, voices of protest rose in the hall and Netanyahu was booed.

After many representatives left the hall, Netanyahu continued his speech in the almost completely empty General Assembly hall.

Thus, while Netanyahu was protested at the UN General Assembly for the third time since October 7, 2023, anti-Israeli Prime Minister demonstrations were held under intense security measures around the UN Headquarters in New York.

A PROTEST WAS ALSO HELD ON THE STREETS OF NEW YORK

Demonstrators protesting Israel's attacks on the streets of New York chanted the slogan "Stop arming Israel, let Gaza live" and carried banners saying "Stop genocide" and "Finance people, not war".
