Numan Kurtulmuş's Statement on Terror-Free Türkiye and the New Constitution

While the terror-free Türkiye process continues, a statement on the subject came from the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Numan Kurtulmuş. Kurtulmuş said that the law would not be implemented unless the organization was disarmed.

In his statement, Kurtulmuş said:

"The law will not be implemented without ensuring the dissolution and disarmament of the organization. This is the first insurance. Second, the board established within the executive branch, which will carry out this process, will fulfill its duty. The third is the Monitoring Board, which will be established within the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, which will follow these processes on behalf of the nation and is responsible for making legal regulations. These three important insurances are a serious guarantee of this process."

NEW CONSTITUTION MESSAGE

Kurtulmuş, while speaking about the discussions on the new constitution, said, "A constitution that everyone will embrace must be formed. This is a must, it is time."
