Media and Information Literacy Clubs are Established in Schools

Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran said, "Within the scope of the social awareness and awareness activities of our Center for Combating Disinformation, we are now establishing our Media and Information Literacy Clubs in our primary schools, secondary schools and high schools, with the support and cooperation of our Ministry of National Education." he said.

Duran; In his statement on his social account, he stated that disinformation, black propaganda, perception operations and provocations, which are one of the biggest threats brought by the information age, target not only social peace but also children, who are the guarantee of the future.

Burhanettin Duran stated that, as the Presidency Directorate of Communications, they have taken another very important step in order to armor children against these digital threats and information pollution and to raise conscious generations in the footsteps of the truth, and said:

"Within the scope of the social awareness and awareness studies of our Anti-Disinformation Center, we are now establishing Media and Information Literacy Clubs in our primary schools, secondary schools and high schools, with the support and cooperation of our Ministry of National Education. Thanks to this important work implemented in line with the vision of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, our children will grow up as conscious individuals who can think analytically, access accurate information and defend the truth against the manipulations, perception operations and provocations in the digital world.
