Uma instituição sem fins lucrativos que atende crianças e adolescentes no bairro Laranjeiras, em Uberlândia, foi alvo de uma invasão seguida de furto na tarde de sábado (26). A ONG Lar Espírita Maria Lobato de Freitas estava fechada e a Polícia Militar foi chamada por vizinhos. Dois homens, de 24 e 36 anos.
Imagens de câmeras de monitoramento flagraram a movimentação da dupla, e vídeos obtidos pela TV Integração mostram os suspeitos sendo presos em flagrante e conduzidos pelos militares até a viatura. Assista ao vídeo acima.
Com os autores, foram recuperados aproximadamente 50 metros de fios elétricos, dois copos e nove torneiras.
A Polícia Militar informou que os dois homens detidos foram encaminhados para a Delegacia de Plantão da Polícia Civil.
Vizinhos chamaram a polícia
Segundo uma representante da ONG que não quis se identificar, testemunhas viram os suspeitos pularem o muro e acionaram a polícia.
“Foi tudo muito rápido, graças à ajuda da comunidade”, relatou a representante.
ONG foi furtada três vezes em uma semana
Em julho de 2025, a instituição já havia sido furtada três vezes em uma semana. Na ocasião, criminosos também levaram fios e causaram prejuízos à ONG.
Segundo a representante, desta vez foi levada uma quantidade menor de fiação, mas os cabos foram cortados e não poderão ser reaproveitados. As torneiras furtadas dos banheiros foram recuperadas após a chegada da polícia.
Em nota, a ONG agradeceu aos vizinhos e à Polícia Militar pela rápida atuação, que permitiu a prisão em flagrante e evitou prejuízos maiores. A instituição informou que trabalha para reparar os danos, mas manteve normalmente o atendimento a cerca de 110 crianças e a famílias da comunidade.
