Three daughters of the Demez family, who live in Mimar Sinan District of Osmaniye center, could not start school today due to financial difficulties.

NEW Party Women's Branch President and Osmaniye Deputy Asu Yaka visited the family's house. Listening to the conditions of the family, Kaya then addressed the Minister of Family Mahinur Göktaş and the Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin.

Asu Kaya used the following statements:

"I am calling out to the Minister of Family, the children of the Demez family are in poverty and hunger. They are happy when they find a piece of bread. First, hear the voices of tens of thousands of families like the Demez family. The school bell rang today. These girls were supposed to be at school. But there are no notebooks, no books, no pens, no shoes on their feet. The child is sick, the mother cannot buy medicine because the debt to the pharmacy has accumulated.

I am calling out to the Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin. Instead of engaging in unnecessary political polemics, feeding sects with the help of the Ministry of National Education, and making protocols, come and lend a hand to these girls. Hundreds of thousands of children are not in education today, even though the school bell rings. Not in education for many reasons. The most important of these is the hunger and misery they faced in the 'Türkiye Century'.
