This Sunday (6), Father Marcelo Rossi celebrated his 31 years of priesthood at the Hallel festival, in Franca (SP). He highlighted overcoming through faith.
The priest used the analogy of the Jubilee of Nácar to reflect on the healing of pain. According to him, faith transforms wounds into jewels.
At 59 years old, the religious man has accumulated records for record sales. He also achieved audience leadership on radio and TV broadcasts.
The priest warned of cases of burnout and depression in youth. He highlighted: "Today's young people have lost their way."
The Hallel 2026 festival takes place in Franca (SP) from Friday (4) to Monday (7). The free event brings together around 80 attractions.
During his participation in Hallel, in Franca (SP), this Sunday (6), Father Marcelo Rossi spoke about his 31 years of ordination, which he is completing in 2026.
He took advantage of the significance of the date, the Jubilee of Nácar, to reflect on his mission as a priest and leave a message about the importance of faith in overcoming pain.
"Nacre is the substance that the oyster produces when it is injured. The injured oyster produces the precious pearl. So, this year, God has deeply used, he will use me here, to take, touch people's wounds and take them through the blood of Jesus, which is more than nacre, the transformation of people", he said.
🔎Celebrated upon reaching 31 years of a union or consecration, the term refers to mother-of-pearl, a substance that coats the inside of the shells of some molluscs. Nacre is released by the oyster precisely to isolate foreign bodies and heal injuries in its internal tissue. In the analogy proposed by the priest, physical or soul pain, when embraced by the Christian faith, goes through a healing process capable of transforming the original wound into a precious jewel.
The celebration takes place in an emblematic phase for the priest, currently 59 years old. Throughout his journey, Father Marcelo Rossi's career consolidated the religious man as one of the greatest exponents of Catholic music in Brazil.

His work went beyond the borders of temples and achieved enormous repercussion in the mainstream media and non-Catholic circles, recording record sales in the recording industry and leading audiences in radio and TV broadcasts.
"Today we see everyone who is emerging, people who are appearing and leading people to love Jesus, that is priceless. When you fall in love with Jesus you want to bring that love to other people."
Taking advantage of his time in the interior of São Paulo, the priest also proposed a reflection on mental health and spirituality, frequent themes in his preaching and books on inner healing.
For Father Marcelo, daily pressures have generated an early emotional overload in new generations, making religious acceptance essential. The priest warned about the tiredness perceived in young people who seek support in faith.
"Today our young people are old (...) They are going through so many bad experiences that they are now searching for God. It's time to take this wonderful God. Young people today have missed stages. So they are experiencing burnout, depression. And we have to take the hope that is Jesus", he stated.

Hallel 2026
Considered one of the largest evangelization festivals in Latin America, Hallel 2026 takes place at the Fernando Costa Exhibition Park, in Franca (SP), from Friday (4) to Monday (7), with free entry to the public.
Under the theme "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life", the 39th edition brings together around 80 attractions including preaching, masses and musical performances.
On the central stage, the shows were opened on Friday (4) by Juninho Cassimiro and the band Rosa de Saron. Saturday (5) was marked by the participation of Flávio Vítor, the debut of sisters Maria Raquel and Maria Joana, from the Hesed Institute, in addition to the return show of Father Fábio de Melo.
This Sunday (6), in addition to the mass celebrated by Father Marcelo Rossi, the public followed the presentations of Gerados pela Imaculada, Anjos de Resgate and Comunidade Colo de Deus.
The event ends on Monday (7) with presentations by Father Adriano Zandoná and the Fraternidade São Paulo II.
