Statement from Pezeşkian to CBS News about USA and Israel

Pezeshkian made statements about the negotiations with the USA in an interview with CBS News channel.

Noting that they are committed to the memorandum of understanding they signed with the USA and are willing to implement it, Pezeşkiyan stated that problems may arise throughout the process, but any dispute resolution must proceed with patience, tolerance and tolerance, and this understanding has not been formed.

Criticizing the attacks of the USA and Israel, Pezeshkian said, "(According to the USA and Israel) Children studying at school are terrorists, our religious leader is a terrorist, scientists doing scientific studies at the university are terrorists. They very easily come and carry out assassinations, then they get up and leave, and then they tell the world 'we are fighting terrorists'." he said.

Stating that he has met with Iranian leader Mojtaba Khamenei twice so far and that their last meeting lasted more than seven hours, Pezeshkiyan said, "He is completely healthy from a medical point of view." he commented.

Pezeshkian said, "It is haram to develop nuclear weapons." He said that even if some people in his country "have a desire to develop nuclear weapons, this is not allowed due to religious reasons."

In which demonstration would 500 security guards and soldiers be killed? They were attempting a coup. When that coup attempt failed, they imposed a 40-day war." made his assessment.
