Harsh Criticism from ELAS to Mitsotakis' UN Contacts

In the statement made by ELAS, Mitsotakis's contacts and speech at the 81st General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) were criticized with harsh words.

The statement said, "The Prime Minister's presence at the UN General Assembly once again revealed the swamp in which Greek diplomacy got stuck as a result of Mitsotakis' one-dimensional and unsuccessful foreign policy." The statement was included.

The statement noted that Greece, which is a temporary member of the UN Security Council for two years, has not taken any initiative to bring peace and stability to the world, and the following evaluations were made:

"Prime Minister Mitsotakis, unlike the majority of European leaders, met with Netanyahu at a time when there was an arrest warrant issued against him by the International Criminal Court. Meanwhile, Turkey held two important multilateral meetings and demonstrated that it had strengthened its cooperation with Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan."

The statement also stated that Greece should return to a multilateral foreign policy.
