Irregular migration and immigrant smuggling control in 81 provinces: 230 immigrants were caught

"In our inspections against immigrant smuggling organizers and irregular migration in 81 provinces, 19 immigrant smuggling organizers and 230 irregular immigrants were caught during the inspections where the identity checks of 279 thousand 575 people were carried out.

Under the coordination of the Directorate of Immigration Management, General Directorate of Security, Department of Combating Immigrant Smuggling and Border Gates, Gendarmerie General Command, Department of Combating Immigrant Smuggling and Human Trafficking, and Coast Guard Command; With 15 thousand 905 personnel, 5 thousand 11 teams at 3 thousand 229 points;

Within the scope of the fight against irregular migration and immigrant smugglers; A total of 7 thousand 334 places were checked, including 2 thousand 214 abandoned buildings, 3 thousand 893 public places and 1,227 other places.

Procedures to repatriate the identified irregular immigrants have been initiated.
