Civil Police investigate network of fake profiles and electoral attacks in Acre

According to information from the Civil Police, six accounts on the social network Instagram were suspended. The agency also stated that three of the identified suspects hold commissioned positions in the current government of Mailza Assis (PP), a candidate for re-election. A fourth person responsible is from a family that has a connection with the state structure.

In a note, the legal advisor said that candidate Mailza Assis denies that she 'authorized, requested or was aware of any action of this nature. The candidate rejects false profiles, anonymous attacks and the dissemination of misinformation, respects the autonomy of the Civil Police and defends that all suspicions are rigorously investigated.'

The operation is led by delegate Rêmullo Diniz, from the Sena Madureira police station, in the interior of the state. To g1, the police authority highlighted that the investigations are under judicial secrecy, however, those involved were intimidated into providing clarifications.

Rêmullo called the suspects 'voting canvassers' and stated that investigations must be carried out to see what their links are and whether the attacks were targeted or spontaneous. "Now we are going to inspect the equipment and check the materials collected", he added.

g1 also contacted Alan Rick's office, who said he is following the investigations with official bodies. "Acre needs to know who commands, who finances and who benefits from these attacks. We trust in the work of the Civil Police and expect a rigorous investigation", he added.

Mailza is the victim of a network of anonymous attacks that are already known to the Electoral Court. Only this Tuesday, before the police operation, her campaign denounced, in process no. 0601041-09.2026.6.01.0000, evidence of coordinated action by 47 profiles used to attack the candidate and promote Alan Rick.

In another investigation, in case No. 0600634-03.2026.6.01.0000, an anonymous profile favorable to the opponent was taken offline after data from Meta and the telephone operator made it possible to identify the connection used in its administration. Alan Rick had been notified about the irregular content published for his benefit, but, according to the records, he did not respond or repudiate the posts.

Given this history, Mailza hopes that all anonymous attack networks are investigated with the same rigor, without selectivity or electoral exploitation. It is not acceptable for formal complaints made by her campaign to be ignored while trying to associate her name, without evidence, with practices of which she herself is a victim.

To date, however, no element has been presented publicly or to the candidate that indicates her participation, knowledge or determination regarding the facts discovered.
