Six matches, including that of the Parisians against Slovan Bratislava, are to be followed on Wednesday evening.
What you need to know
The Champions League resumed on Tuesday September 8. The first day of the league phase continues, Wednesday September 9, with the entry of Paris Saint-Germain against Slovan Bratislava. The reigning European champions are expected to bounce back after a failed start to the season in Ligue 1, without a single victory in three days. Facing the least formidable opponent in their busy schedule (FC Barcelona, Manchester City, etc.), any result other than a victory would be considered a worrying failure.
The two toughest matches of the evening are Liverpool-Atlético de Madrid and Naples-Arsenal. They will be played at the same time as the PSG match, at 9 p.m. Before that, two matches take place at 6:45 p.m.: Barça-Feyenoord and Stuttgart-Viking Stavanger.
