“No leads ruled out” after the TER derailment in Normandy

Friday evening, a TER connecting Rouen to Caen derailed after hitting a five-meter rail, causing 44 injuries. And for the moment, the causes remain mysterious. Although some political leaders speak of a criminal act, Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez therefore asks to “remain extremely cautious” while waiting to learn more. The prosecutor, for his part, specified that "at this stage, there is no evidence to suggest a malicious act committed with the deliberate intention of derailing the train, and therefore even less an attack."

Disillusionment for the Bleues du basketball in the World Cup final
