Russian attacks on Ukraine. Evacuation of border crossings and RCB alerts in Poland

The Russians are brutally attacking Ukraine again with ballistic missiles and drones. As a result of these airstrikes, at least nine people were killed in Kiev and the Kharkiv Oblast, the authorities reported in the Telegram messenger.

Due to Russian attacks on Ukraine, the Government Security Center has already sent alerts twice to residents of the Podkarpackie and Lublin voivodeships. The second alert is still in effect. Moreover, Russian airstrikes are the reason for another attempt to pick up military planes today. They operate in Polish airspace all the time.

Evacuation of border crossings

Around noon, Prime Minister Donald Tusk provided information about the evacuation of two border crossings. The reason was the Russian attacks.

The head of the Polish government spoke about it at a conference after a meeting with the Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev.

This is a real drama of today, because it is not the first time that when I talk to one of our partners here in Warsaw and talk about how aggressive Russia's behavior is and what a problem it also creates for Poland, it is precisely at this time that the Russians decide to prove it. When we were just talking, Ukraine was attacked again near the border with Poland and we had to evacuate the border crossings in Hrubieszów and Dorohusk again - said Donald Tusk.

You can guess what losses and nerves this causes. This situation forces us to act very consistently here in Poland, cooperate with Ukraine, but also warn Europe and European partners that these times are really difficult and that we need to prepare well for the coming weeks and months. Autumn and winter may be truly critical, the Prime Minister warned once again.
