Russian MP Warns European States Will Be Losers After Russia's Victory in Special Military Operation

MOSCOW, September 26. /TASS/. European states will become the losers after Russia’s victory in the special military operation, so it would be better for them to start looking for compromises with Moscow before it ends, Andrey Kolesnik (United Russia), a member of the State Duma Defense Committee, said in an interview with TASS.

"When we finish the special military operation, much will no longer depend on Europe. The winners dictate the terms, and at best, the losers will be given sour milk and sent to the corner -- let them meow there," the parliamentarian said.

Kolesnik also recalled the Latin saying "woe to the vanquished." "This is why it would be better for them to recover from this war·fever as soon as possible, to come to their senses. Then it will be possible to talk about some kind of compromises. But when they lose, then other mechanisms come into play," the deputy said.
