Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır came to Kırklareli to attend the Türkiye Century meetings. Stating that Kırklareli was one of the most important addresses of development mobilization during the AK Party government, Kacır said, "During the AK Party governments in Kırklareli, we reduced the number of students per classroom from 22 to 17 in primary education and from 30 to 17 in secondary education. We increased the number of classrooms from 2 thousand 259 to 2 thousand 932. We also allocated 68 billion liras for transportation and communication infrastructure. Hopefully, when this line is completed, Kırklareli's transportation opportunities to both Istanbul and Europe will be much improved, and Kırklareli will gain important opportunities in passenger and freight transportation," he said.

We have reached 8044. We have supported our farmers with 59 billion lira in agriculture. We have put into service 101 irrigation facilities that bring together fertile lands with the abundance of water, and provide security against drought. We have planted 69.5 million saplings in order to add greenness to the green of Kırklareli. 3 thousand new houses have been built in Kırklareli. As the Ministry of Industry and Technology, we have always strived to support Kırklareli with the incentives we provide to our organized industrial zones and our SMEs. In the last 23 years, we have increased the total size of our OIZs from 400 hectares to 1440 hectares. We have created an additional 15 thousand 700 jobs in our OIZs. "We provided 739 million liras of support to our SMEs and paved the way for 242 billion liras of investment and more than 24 thousand jobs in Kırklareli with our investment incentives," he said.

Stating that they are striving to activate the potential of Kırklareli more strongly by increasing the incentives, Kacır said, "Recently, with the local development move program, we supported two projects with a size of 1.7 billion liras for yeast production facility and geothermal greenhouse investments in Kırklareli. This year, within the scope of our local development move, we will continue to produce industrial dairy products with high economic value, modular furniture production with value-added wood and forest products, integrated production with a capacity of at least 500 cattle." We have received applications for 9 projects with a total size of 12 billion lira for meat or dairy farming facilities, waste and by-products resulting from the processing of grapes and grapes. Hopefully, we will complete the evaluations quickly and bring these projects to our Kırklareli region. Of course, our Thrace Development Agency will continue to take steps to pave the way for women and entrepreneurs by supporting local development projects.
