Seoul Subway Line 1 Resumes Service After Power Line Issue at Hankuk University Station

SEOUL, Aug. 3 (Yonhap) -- Seoul Subway Line 1 resumed service at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Station on Monday after emergency power line repair work that had forced trains to skip the station, the subway operator said.

The station experienced power line issues at 3:45 p.m., with trains bound for Yeoncheon Station passing through the station without stopping and running behind schedule, according to Korea Railroad Corp. (KORAIL).

KORAIL said emergency repairs were completed at 5:12 p.m. but said delays continued after services resumed.

A KORAIL official said the exact cause of the power line issue was under investigation.
