On the evening of May 22, a major gas explosion occurred underground at the Liushenyu Coal Co., Ltd. of Shanxi Tongzhou Group in Qinyuan County, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, causing heavy casualties.
This is the heartbreaking pain caused by the Qinyuan Coal Mine accident in Changzhi, Shanxi. Faced with this reality, we need not only condolences and accountability, but also the responsibility for safety on the front line underground and at the forefront of production.
After the accident, leading cadres from many places went deep underground to supervise safety production work. Public reports show that on the evening of May 23, local officials such as the Secretary of the Zezhou County Party Committee and the Fenxi County Party Committee of Shanxi went straight to the underground fully mechanized mining working face to check the gas drainage, roof support and safety monitoring. In the coal-producing areas of Shuicheng District, Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province, and Xing'an District, Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province, relevant leaders also go deep into the mines to supervise safe production.
At the same time, Shanxi provincial level is actively promoting systematic deployment.
