Suspicious death of newly appointed police officer in Sinop

The incident took place in Zeytinlik District, Kamelya Street, in central Sinop. According to the information obtained, relatives of M.D., who was on duty at the Provincial Police Department and learned to have been newly appointed to the city, reported the situation to the authorities.

Upon notice, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. The teams entering the house found M.D. motionless. During the checks carried out by the medical teams, it was determined that the young police officer had died.

AN AUTOPSY WILL BE PERFORMED

M.D.'s lifeless body was taken to the morgue of Sinop Atatürk State Hospital after investigations at the scene. It was learned that the exact cause of death of the police officer will become clear after the autopsy.

A large-scale investigation has been launched into the incident.
