Mother and father were arrested in the search for 11-month-old Büşra baby in Sivas

While the search for 11-month-old baby Büşra, who has not been heard from for 7 days in Sivas, continues, new developments have occurred.

During the night, father Yusuf Balıkçı and mother Elif Balıkçı were arrested and sent to prison on the charge of "deliberately killing a child descendant", and their relatives Rahime Budak, Özcan Budak, Mithat Balıkçı and Mehmet Resul Balıkçı were arrested on the charges of "destroying, hiding or altering criminal evidence" and "favoring the criminal".

The other 3 suspects were released on condition of judicial control.

The other four children of the family were taken under protection on 13 September and placed in Sivas 4 Eylül Children's Home. The statements of other children were taken at the Children's Home on September 16, accompanied by a social worker.

There were remarkable details in the children's statements.

R.B. from the children. and H.B. claimed that their father was in debt.

Claiming that the suspect named Mehmet K. entered the tent, the brothers claimed that he took their sister Büşra away in return for the debt.

Following these allegations, mother Elif Balıkçı's statement was taken again. The suspicious mother claimed that she gave her previous statements under the guidance of her husband Yusuf Balıkçı and her sister Rahime Budak.

NEW CUSTODY AFTER THE STATEMENT

Following this development, suspect Mehmet K. was caught and detained in Diyarbakır yesterday.

THE MOTHER CHANGED HER STATEMENT ONCE AGAIN

The mother, who had changed her statement twice before, claimed in her first statement that two people came in a white vehicle and kidnapped the baby, and then her husband Yusuf Balıkçı sold the baby for money.

Following yesterday's new detention decision, the mother's statement was taken again. The mother, who testified at the prosecutor's office, claimed in her statement that her son told her about Büşra being taken from the tent, but that she saw Mehmet K. not take Büşra from the tent.

The mother, who admitted that she knew that her husband owed money to Mehmet, also stated in her statement that the suspect constantly asked for the debt.
