Stefan Holm suspected of assault after a fight with Emil Persson at the Book Fair

Stefan Holm and Emil Persson met on Saturday outside a restaurant at the Book Fair in Gothenburg, where they both have several program items. According to Stefan Holm, he has been angry with the podcast profile Emil Persson, who leads Fördomspodden and Fördomshowen in SVT, for many years because of a joke that Persson made on television.

When DN reaches Stefan Holm on Saturday evening, he states that he has been questioned by the police and has been served with suspicion of assault. Holm says that it broke for him when he saw Persson on Saturday.

- I grab the neck of his shirt and tear him, he says.

In retrospect, Holm says that it is clear that he "should not physically attack a person".

- I should have solved it in a different way. But I've been carrying this for eight years and it's very hard to let it go.

Can't you let things go if eight years have passed?

- Eight years is a long time to wait for an apology. I think someone should have apologized to me, because I've said what I think about this in the media before. And yes, I realize that I'm being bloody short-tempered and that maybe I should have talked to someone about this.

The book fair states that the incident is being handled by the police.

"We have received confirmation that an incident between two people has occurred outside the Book Fair area. The incident is being handled by the police," writes the communications manager at the Book Fair to SVT.

DN has contacted the police command center, which has not received any information about the incident because the police on site handle cases that arise at the book fair.
