Three injured in shooting in Jönköping - woman previously threatened

During the night, three people were injured in a shooting in the residential area Hovslätt in Jönköping. Two men were seriously injured, one of whom is being treated for life-threatening injuries. A woman received minor injuries, the police said.

The woman, who is registered at the current address, has previously been subjected to threats and harassment.

According to court documents obtained by SVT Jönköping, last summer she was subjected to repeated threats from a man with whom she had a relationship. Among other things, she received messages and videos with offensive content.

Children were threatened

The man also sent a picture of himself with a metal bat in connection with the threatening messages. According to the documents, he should also have said that he shot pictures of the woman, that he intended to blow things up and that he had a weapon buried in the forest. One of the woman's children was also subjected to threats.

On another occasion, the man is said to have been near the woman's residence armed with several knives.

He was later sentenced to a year and a half in prison. If the previous threats have any connection to the night's shooting, the police do not want to comment.
