Jhonas Aostri survived attack at Brinell School - thanks friends and strangers for lifesaving efforts

In the attack on Brinell School, Jhonas Aostri was seriously injured. - I am so grateful for what they did, that they acted. I would have lost a lot more blood if they didn't help me.

"I had guardian angels"

When SVT Västmanland meets Jhonas a month after the attack, the interview is very much about luck and bad luck.

- I was unlucky to be there and that it happened. But then I was lucky that Mohamed was there, who knows care and how to do it. And then we found Fredrik who could drive us to the hospital. It feels like a miracle, like I had angelic guardianship.

Moving forward with the injuries

At the hospital, he has, among other things, operated on his one kidney twice. The motor skills in the right hand are progressing after the injury to the arm and Jhonas hopes that it will be as before.

- I was never afraid that I would die, but I was most afraid of losing my arm. I am an active person, doing sports. Then arms and hands are important.

Important support from friends

After two weeks in the hospital in Västerås, he was allowed to come home again. Then it became easier to meet the friends who meant a lot to him.

- With the support I have received from social media, from friends and family, I have gained the will to continue forward. To not only think in a negative way.
