Motorcyclist dies after losing control and being run over on Padre Manoel da Nóbrega Highway

A motorcyclist, still unidentified, died after being run over by a car on the Padre Manoel da Nóbrega Highway, in Praia Grande, on the coast of São Paulo. As reported by g1, he lost control of the motorcycle, hit the central wall and fell onto the road before being hit by the vehicle.

The accident happened at km 300, around 8:30 pm on Friday (25). According to the Military Highway Police (PMRv), the victim was approximately 30 years old and was found approximately 200 meters from the motorcycle. Death was pronounced at the scene.

The Multimodal Control Center (CCM) of the Transport Regulatory Agency of the State of São Paulo (Artesp) reported that the motorcyclist lost control of the motorcycle before hitting the central wall of the highway. PMRv added that the police did not find any documents with the victim.

In a statement, Concessionária Novo Litoral (CNL) reported that, due to the accident, the left lane was partially closed from 8:26 pm. The location was marked and traffic remained under monitoring by operational teams.
