A man with an outstanding arrest warrant for robbery was arrested in São João Evangelista, in the East of Minas.
Images recorded the moment he jumped from the balcony of a house to try to escape the Military Police.
After escaping, police carried out investigations and located the suspect in a hotel in the city.
During searches of the property, portions of marijuana, cocaine and a precision scale were seized.
The warrant is related to a robbery that occurred in 2014 in Santo Antônio do Monte, which resulted in the death of a man and a teenager.

The crime occurred in 2014, in Santo Antônio do Monte. At the time, a man and a teenager were shot dead. The perpetrators, who also attacked an elderly man, fled with money.
From the images, recorded last Thursday (24), it is possible to see that he loses his balance when jumping from the second floor of the residence and falls. Two people below are scared. Soon after, the police appear and run to try to catch him.
According to the PM, a team went to a property in the Santo Antônio neighborhood after receiving information that the man, who had an outstanding arrest warrant, was living near Praça do Rosário.
During monitoring, police saw the man entering the residence. Upon noticing the arrival of the military, he fled through a window and jumped from the balcony. At first, the police were unable to locate him. During searches of the property, portions of marijuana, cocaine and a scale were seized.
After escaping, the police carried out investigations and managed to arrest the man in a hotel in the city. After being located, he was taken to the hospital for a forensic examination and was subsequently taken to the Civil Police station along with the seized material.
About the crime
On December 2, 2014, a 45-year-old man and a 17-year-old teenager were shot dead on a farm in the rural area of Santo Antônio do Monte. An elderly man, aged 81, was attacked during the crime and had to be rescued.
According to the Military Police (PM), four hooded criminals broke into the farm, shot the victims, stole R$750 and fled.
According to the PM, the crime occurred around 10:30 pm and lasted around five minutes. The robbers broke down the main door of the farmhouse, which was 12 kilometers from the city center, and shot the man who was in the living room. He died at the scene from a gunshot wound to the chest.
They then went to one of the rooms in the residence and found the elderly man, who was the man's father.
The elderly man told the military that the suspects asked him to hand over the farm's weapons, but, as the victim had no weapons, they hit him with batons.
Still according to the PM, the elderly man needed to be rescued because he had minor injuries and was in a state of shock when he saw his son dead. He was taken to the Santo Antônio do Monte Emergency Hospital.
The criminals went to another room in the house and shot the teenager, who was sleeping. He died at the scene from a gunshot wound to the chest.
The PM reported that another 17-year-old teenager was also in the property, but was hidden in the bathroom during the criminal action and was not injured.
The men ransacked the residence, stole R$750 in cash and then fled on foot.
