Suspect arrested again for domestic violence after violating protective order

According to the incident report, the first arrest occurred on Saturday (26). The ex-partner stated that she was threatened by the suspect and that there was a protective measure against him, which had been breached.

Arrested by the Military Police, the suspect underwent a custody hearing, where he was notified again about the protective measure and the obligation to stay away from his ex-partner.

However, according to the victim, on Sunday (27), after being released, the suspect returned to the residence where the victim lives and, drunk, threatened to attack the couple's 18-year-old daughter, in addition to making a death threat to his ex-partner.

The house where the ex-partner lives with the couple's six children belongs to the suspect and, according to information from the victim, because of this, he allegedly threatened to expel everyone from the place.

The police were called and arrested the suspect again for domestic violence, failure to comply with a protective measure and threat. He remains detained.

The police authority requested the Court that the arrest of the suspect in the act be converted into preventive, on the grounds of dangerous behavior for the psychological integrity of the victim and previous non-compliance with the protective measure.
